dc.description.abstract | Our study aims to understand the implicit theories and concepts about managing and leading Arts and Cultural Organizations (ACOs) that underlie the behavior of today's leaders. We approached the study with a qualitative research design and conducted semi-structured interviews with leaders of ACOs, which were analyzed on the füll range of leadership model (Avolio & Bass, 1991). The results suggest a shift away an understanding of leadership functions in the sense of traditional management towards a more transfonnational leadership behavior. | de_CH |
