Abstract:	In 2012 South Korea is going to organize the World Expo on the subject of Diversity of Resources and Sustainable Activities. Living Ocean and Coast. As a preparation to this event, the Swiss Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) has commissioned the Center for International Business at the ZHAW (project lead: Petra Young-zie Barthelmess Röthlisberger) to conduct a study with the following subject focuses: first to tickle the overall image of Switzerland among South Korean students and second to find out about the relevance of ecological issues among them in comparison with their Swiss counterparts. Approximately 1 of 500 South Korean and Swiss students have participated in the survey. The survey included 829 South Korean students at the following universities: Chungang, Hanyang, Sungkyungkwan, Korea, Soongsil, Kongju, Ajou, Sogang University as well as SolBridge International School of Business. The comparative part of this study included the opinions of 673 Swiss students at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (departments of Architecture, Design/Construction Engineering, Applied Psychology, Business Administration, Health, Life Sciences and Engineering). The survey was conducted from February to April 2011.
