Abstract:	The report highlights that Swiss asset managers are less traditional than one might think. Wealthy investors are increasingly acting like institutional investors: in 2003, private clients in Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East all significantly increased their allocations to hedge funds and structured products. Ironically enough, it has not been "traditional" Private Banking activities that has been driving growth over the last years at the three listed Swiss asset managers.
