| Abstract: | This short final report presents the key concepts and outcomes of the research project "idee suisse: Language policy, norms, and practice as exemplified by Swiss Radio and Television". The project was funded from 2005 to 2007 by the Swiss National Science Foundation. It is part of the National Research Programme 56, "Language Diversity and Linguistic Competence in Switzerland". As intended by the Swiss National Science Foundation, the short final report is addressed to a wider audience, including interested non-linguists and non-academics. |
