Title: Assessing the computational properties of various network topologies
Authors: Rohrkemper, Robert
Douglas, R.
Conference details: ZNZ Symposium 2008, Zürich, 12. September 2008
Issue Date: 2008
Language: English
Subjects: Neuroscience; Zurich; ZNZ; Symposium
Subject (DDC): 006: Special computer methods
Abstract: We are interested in ways to assess computation on a system such as the brain where we do not know the underlying mechanisms. The brain appears to do many different computations with relatively high performance and efficiency. We also believe that it is highly specialized for some purposes.
