| Abstract: | Since charitable donations make up a significant portion of the income of an animal welfare organization, such organizations can benefit from a better understanding of the factors influencing the amount of money donated by its members. This study examines the influence of member value on the willingness of association members to make donations. These influencing factors were collected with the help of data from a member survey conducted with a Swiss animal welfare association. The results of the multiple regression analysis show that member value significantly influences the willingness to make donations. This study demonstrates that good coordination between organizational and individual member needs can have a positive effect on donation income. |
