Abstract: The recent passage of the GDPR and the CCPA complicates the data privacy liability landscape – and the task of buying the right cyber insurance. In a recent webinar, Jones Day attorneys Jennifer Everett and Richard DeNatale, along with Aarti Soni, cyber coverage leader for the insurance brokerage firm Marsh, and Fred Karlinsky, a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, explained what corporate counsel should look for in insurance coverage in this regulatory environment and offered concrete advice about specific language and provisions in insurance plans.
