dc.description.abstractBased on consistent, reliable and independent ESG-related data, an index-based investment approach can be developed that manages to significantly reduce the CO2 emission exposure of a portfolio, while not compromising the classical investment rationale. Passive benchmark-linked investment solutions like these will be key for re-channelling major asset flows towards greener investment, thus encouraging the paradigm change towards a low-carbon economy.de_CH
