This paper presents an interactive narrative with scenarios about the future development of elderly care. The main goal of this narrative is the triggering of a discourse about possible future situations and which of these situations are desirable from a subjective point of view and which ones should avoided. The elaboration of the interactive narrative is based on a PESTLE analysis and uses the science-fiction prototyping method. The first of three stages play in the present whereas the other two stages are at two different points of time in the future. This interactive narrative which is online available in German and English was used for six probands which went through the whole story. To capture their opinions and perceptions the think aloud method was applied. It seems that such interactive narratives can indeed trigger a discourse and be a starting point for a constructive discussion.de_CH
