dc.description.abstract | The almost unlimited application possibilities of artificial intelligence (AI) are among the most promising developments in Human Resource Management (HRM). As a basic technology it has the potential to change all processes and decisions in HRM. Due to the increasing interest in AI technologies in HRM and first experiences with them, the question arises which processes can really be improved using AI and where companies should (still) better rely on humans for decision-making processes in HRM. In addition to an analysis of the status, we report the results of a qualitative study. Companies recognize the potential, yet AI is not used for various reasons. Given that AI in HRM aims to create value, the results show a wide range of applications, which are not replacing the human being but supporting it in daily HRM activities. | de_CH |
