Business tourism represents the largest non-leisure type of tourism. It is often thought of in terms of attracting international markets to host events in a destination, while the local businesses who contribute to this sector are often overlooked. Current trends in business tourism are calling for regional products, unique venues, and authentic local experiences. We, therefore, suggest that culinary and wine tourism offers would be of interest to this sector. Businesses contribute locally to business tourism through their normal activities; they represent an important market that can be a source of less seasonal revenue as well as innovation in developing tourism offers. Thus, working together can be mutually beneficial for the wine, tourism, and business sectors and can support domestic/regional tourism development. The case of wine tourism in the Bündner Herrschaft in the canton of Grisons, Switzerland, is explored to demonstrate the potential for combining wine and MICE tourism in order to support local value creation in tourism and associated sectors. The findings demonstrate the potential for local companies to participate in local wine tourism and outline practical considerations, which may be useful for tourism suppliers to consider when creating offers for this sector.de_CH
