| Abstract: | Der Fluss Sihl entspringt im Gebiet Mieseren und Chräloch beim Druesberg in den Schwyzer Voralpen und fliesst über 69 km weit durch die Kantone Schwyz, Zug und Zürich bis zu ihrer Mündung in die Limmat. Heute dient die Sihl unter anderem als Freizeit- und Erholungsraum. Um in der Region der Sihl die Wertschöpfung durch den Tourismus zu steigern und den Sommertourismus zu stärken, kommt als geeignete Massnahme unter anderem eine Erlebniswanderung in Frage. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, ein Grobkonzept für solch ein Erlebnisangebot entlang der Sihl mit dem Thema «die Sihl und ihre Landschaft» zu prüfen und zu erstellen. Um die Fragestellung zu beantworten, wurde eine Literaturrecherche wie auch Vor-Ort-Begehungen und ein Expertengespräch durchgeführt.
Es stellte sich heraus, dass in der Region der Sihl ein Bedarf an solch einem Angebot besteht, da dadurch der Sommertourismus gefördert, ein Bildungsangebot erstellt, Wertschöpfung generiert und die Landschaft nachhaltig genutzt wird. Die Analyse des Wegnetzes ergab, dass über weite Strecken Wege entlang der Sihl vorhanden sind oder geeignete Alternativrouten durch attraktive Gebiete bestehen. Zudem bieten sich verschiedene Themen an, welche in einem Erlebnisangebot vermittelt werden können, wie zum Beispiel das Thema Moore oder die Glaziallandschaft Lorze. Auch hat es Beherbergungs- und Verpflegungsbetriebe, welche durch das Angebot mehr Wertschöpfung generieren würden.
Basierend auf diesen Erkenntnissen wurde ein Konzept ausgearbeitet, welches die verschiedenen Etappen Quellgebiet, Sihlsee, Glaziallandschaft Lorze und Sihlwald bis Stadt Zürich beinhaltet. Wichtig ist auch einen partizipativen Einbezug der Akteure in die Detailplanung und eine gute Vermarktung. Eine nachhaltige Positionierung könnte durch Labels wie Swisstainable gelingen.
Es wird erwartet, dass vor allem für die Etappe beim Sihlsee Potenzial vorhanden ist. Fraglich ist der Bedarf an einem solchen Angebot in der Stadt Zürich und deren Agglomeration. In Zukunft sind weitere Abklärungen und eine Zusammenarbeit mit den Akteuren nötig, um das Projekt weiterzuentwickeln. The Sihl river has its source in the area of Mieseren and Chräloch near the Druesberg in the foothills of the Alps and flows for over 69 km through the cantons of Schwyz, Zug and Zurich to its mouth in the Limmat. Today, the Sihl serves, among other things, as a leisure and recreation area. In order to increase the added value of tourism in the region and to strengthen the summer tourism, a suitable measure is, among other things, an adventure hike. The aim of this work is to examine and create a concept for such an adventure offer along the Sihl with the theme "the Sihl and its landscape". To answer the question, literature research as well as on-site visits and an expert interview were carried out. It turned out that there is a need for such an offer in the region of the Sihl, as it promotes summer tourism, creates an educational offer, generates added value and uses the landscape sustainably. The analysis of the path network showed that there are mostly paths along the Sihl and if not, there are suitable alternative routes through attractive areas. In addition, there are various topics that can be mediated in an experience offer, such as the topic of moors or the glacial landscape Lorze. There are also accommodation and restaurants that would generate more added value through the offer. Based on these findings, a concept was developed that includes the various stages from the headwaters, Lake Sihl, the Lorze glacial landscape and Sihlwald to the city of Zurich. It is also important to involve the stakeholders in the detailed planning and to ensure good marketing. This could also succeed through labels such as Swisstainable. It is expected that there is potential especially for the stage near Sihlsee. The demand for such an offer in the city of Zurich and its agglomeration is questionable. In the future, further clarifications and cooperation with the stakeholders will be necessary to advance the project. |
