| Abstract: | Media have a significant role to play in fostering national development by reporting objectively stories of public interest and by holding those with power accountable. This crucial role, however, can only be attained effectively and sustained when reporting quality meets professional benchmarks. This study – the 2018 Yearbook on Media Quality in Tanzania – analyses the media reporting quality in the country using specific quality criteria agreed upon by editors, bloggers and media stakeholders. |
