dc.description.abstractCultural and diversity differences are often the biggest challenge to successful interactions for health care professionals and patients. A lack of understanding of these factors causes conflicts, creates distrust, results in inaccurate treatment and leads to poor health outcomes. Therefore, bridging cultural and diversity differences is crucial. The 25 critical incidents help build intercultural competence for health care professionals. Each of them comes with at least four possible options to choose from, and an analysis indicating the best option(s). Participants can use this set of critical incidents to evaluate themselves and understand the reasons for these incidents.de_CH

Daher ist es entscheidend, Kultur- und Diversity-Unterschiede zu verstehen. 25 Fallbeispiele unterstützen das Gesundheitspersonal beim Aufbau interkultureller Kompetenzen. Bei jedem Beispiel können Sie aus mindestens vier Handlungsmöglichkeiten wählen; anschliessend wird erklärt, welche Wahl die beste ist.
