dc.description.abstractAlthough information literacy is internationally regarded as a key element in translator training, translation quality assurance and translation competence, it has only recently begun to receive systematic attention from researchers and course designers. This paper presents work from two research projects investigating information behaviour in the translation processes of novices and professionals. It shows how the results support the development of a learning portal to train translators to meet the information demands of the knowledge age.de_CH
